Instructions

Cook the Pasta

  • Begin by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add 8 ounces of bowtie pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta and set it aside, reserving about a cup of pasta water for later!

Sauté the Beef

  • In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add 1 pound of ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat, leaving a little for flavor.

Add Garlic

  • Add 4 cloves of minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute, or until fragrant.

Make the Sauce

  • Pour in 1 cup of heavy cream and 1 cup of beef broth. Stir well to combine. Add 1 cup of grated parmesan cheese, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, and 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning. Mix until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens slightly. Adjust consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.

Combine Pasta and Sauce

  • Gently fold the cooked bowtie pasta into the creamy sauce, ensuring every piece is coated. Adjust seasoning with salt and black pepper to taste.

Serve and Enjoy

  • Serve hot, garnished with additional parmesan cheese and fresh herbs like parsley or basil. Pair with garlic bread or a light salad.
