Ingredients
  

Fish

  • 1 pound Fresh fish (snapper or tilapia) Cut into small cubes.
  • 4-5 limes Zesty lime juice Juiced.

Herbs and Spices

  • 1 handful Fresh cilantro Roughly chopped.
  • 2 cloves Aromatic garlic Minced.
  • 1-2 pieces Spicy chili peppers Adjust based on heat preference.

  • optional Seafood broth For added depth.

Instructions
 

Prepare the Fish

  • Start with 1 pound of fresh fish, such as snapper or tilapia. Cut it into small cubes and place it in a mixing bowl. Make sure the fish is very fresh, as this is crucial for the best flavor.

Marinate

  • Squeeze the juice of 4-5 limes over the fish. Ensure that the fish is fully submerged in the lime juice. Let it marinate for about 15-20 minutes.

Blend the Ingredients

  • Transfer the fish and lime juice into a blender. Add cilantro, garlic, ginger, and chili peppers. Blend until smooth.

Season

  • Taste the mixture and add salt and pepper to your liking. If you prefer a thinner consistency, add seafood broth or more lime juice. Blend again briefly to combine.

Chill

  • Transfer the Leche de Tigre to a bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Serve

  • Once chilled, serve your Leche de Tigre in small cups or bowls. Garnish with extra cilantro or lime wedges.
