Ingredients
  

Chicken

  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts Look for fresh, high-quality breasts.

Pasta

  • 8 ounces penne pasta Or your favorite pasta.

Sauce

  • 1/2 cup hot sauce Like Frank's RedHot.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For sautéing.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Adds flavor.
  • 1 medium onion, diced For sautéing.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese Mozzarella or cheddar works beautifully.
  • to taste salt and pepper For seasoning.
  • to taste fresh parsley For garnish (optional).

Instructions
 

  • Start by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add your choice of pasta, such as penne, and cook according to the package instructions. Remember to stir occasionally to prevent sticking. Once cooked, drain and set aside.
  • While the pasta is cooking, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add 1 diced onion and 3 minced garlic cloves. Sauté them until they become fragrant and translucent, which should take about 3-4 minutes.
  • Next, add 1 pound of boneless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces, to the skillet. Cook until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through, approximately 6-8 minutes. Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking.
  • Once the chicken is cooked, pour in ½ cup of your favorite hot sauce. For a milder flavor, you can adjust the amount to your liking. Let it simmer for about 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld beautifully.
  • Now, it’s time to bring everything together! Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the chicken mixture. Toss everything gently to combine. If you want a creamier texture, stir in 1 cup of shredded cheese, such as mozzarella or cheddar, until melted and well incorporated.
  • Finally, serve your Spicy Buffalo Chicken Pasta hot. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and an extra sprinkle of cheese, if desired. This dish is perfect for a cozy family dinner!
